Backstage Technicians (Casual)
Harlow Playhouse is looking to expand its team of experienced casual technicians to help with the backstage responsibilities of running this increasingly busy venue. You will be working with people who have an established reputation as one of the best and most customer focussed teams in the country.
Responsible to the Technical Operations Manager, duties will include assisting 'get-ins' and 'get-outs' and the smooth running of performances.
A knowledge of technical theatre is helpful to this role and the ideal candidate will preferably have experience of working backstage in a theatre environment or have completed a recognised technical theatre qualification.
If you are an enthusiastic team player who can always maintain a good sense of humour despite the relentless pressure, here is your opportunity to play a leading role at Harlow Playhouse

Caretakers (Casual)
To help provide essential support to the smooth running of operations, we require to expand our pool of casual caretakers. This is a very customer focussed position which primarily involves the safety and security of the venue coupled with dealing with visiting groups and members of the public.

There are no technical volunteer opportunities at this time.
Ushers
We are always on the lookout for members of the public who wish to join our team of dedicated Ushers. Ushering can be a weekly or montly occurrence depending on individual levels of commitment. Ushering duties are rewarded with tickets to Playhouse performances and other benefits. Full training is provided and ushering can be a very sociable and rewarding experience.
