However, comedy is what Julian is most loved for and he has been a regular face on our TV screens in such shows as Sticky Moments, Terry and Julian and It’s Only TV But I Like It. Lord of the Mince will be an intimate evening – a celebration, no less, of his 25 years in the camp spotlight, dealing with how he got there and why he refuses to leave. Internationally acclaimed comedian Stewart Francis has made a big name for himself after going down a storm on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow on BBC1 and appearing as a regular face on BBC2’s Mock The Week and Channel 4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats. The Canadian funnyman has also supported Ricky Gervais on his huge Science tour and brings his first solo British show, Tour De Francis to the Playhouse for what will no doubt be an evening of cutting one-liners and gloriously sharp gags.
