Cinderella to be unveiled at Harlow Town Show!
The unknown performer chosen for the title role in this year’s magical family pantomime production of Cinderella at Harlow Playhouse is to be unveiled at the Harlow Town Show.
The identity of the successful candidate in the Playhouse’s Search for a Cinderella contest is being kept under wraps until the Town Show on Sunday, September 6.
She will be revealed to the public when she takes to the stage inside the Playhouse’s very own marquee at 2pm, where she will perform a short preview of Cinderella alongside some of the stars of this year’s pantomime.
However, this is not the only event involving the Playhouse during the Town Show as the theatre has its very own marquee on the Showground site.
There will be free performances throughout the afternoon involving the Cinderella cast, Harlow Ballet Association and Hip Hop Hop, as well as Harlow’s Phoenix Theatre Company which will be performing an excerpt from its impending production of Peter Pan at the Playhouse and the Efua Sey Academy, which showcases a section of its upcoming Playhouse show Birth of a New Day marking Black History Month.
