Glorious 39 (12A)

Set in the run-up to the outbreak of World War Two, this British drama features an all-star cast and is brought to the screen by the much-loved director Stephen Poliakoff. The story revolves around the Keyes family, most notably Anne (Romola Garai), a budding actress who is in love with Foreign Office official Lawrence (Charlie Cox). Her idyllic life slowly unravels though when she stumbles across secret recordings of an anti-appeasement movement. Anne tries to discover the origin of the recordings, only to discover dark secrets and a sinister plot she cannot escape from.
