Ensemble 360 is rapidly gaining an enviable reputation as one of the UK’s leading ensembles. Based in South Yorkshire, the group brings together musicians from across the globe. The group will be performing Beethoven’s The Ghost piano trio. Also included is Brahms’ Serenade No. 1, which is better known as an orchestral work, but this chamber version for 10 musicians is rarely performed and is a lively, dance-like work that’s full of surprises! Sandwiched between the two is a new, energetic and slightly jazzy work by Welsh composer Huw Watkins. Chamber music is close to Huw’s heart and he has written works for many leading chamber ensembles.
